The Society of Government Meeting Professionals,
Inc. is a national organization dedicated to improving the knowledge
and expertise of individuals in the planning and management
of government meetings through education, training, industry
relationships and mutual support.
SGMP Houston Gulf Coast Chapter monthly meetings are held
the 2nd Thursday of every month, usually during lunch with some
exceptions, and include a variety of professional development
topics. Meeting locations vary throughout the Houston Gulf Coast
area allowing our supplier members to showcase their properties
and planner members to view different sites in a relaxed social
atmosphere.

I am delighted your interest in the SGMP Houston Gulf Coast
Chapter has brought you to our website! Please take a few

is truly a beneficial organization dedicated to improving the
knowledge and expertise of individuals in the planning and
management of government meetings.
The Mission of the SGMP Houston Gulf Coast Chapter is to
improve the quality and increase the cost-effectiveness of
government meetings through education and networking.
The SGMP Houston Gulf Coast Chapter meets monthly on the 2nd
Thursday of every month, usually during lunch with some evening
programs, and provides a variety of meeting management and
professional development topics. Meeting locations vary
throughout the Houston Gulf Coast area allowing our supplier
members to showcase their properties and planner members to view
different sites in a relaxed social atmosphere.
