Topic: "What's In Your SGMP Playbook?  From the Locker Room to the Playing Field"

Speaker: Melody Kebe, CMP, CGMP, SGMP National President

Summary:  Join fellow members in developing a game plan to be an effective and successful chapter.  Attendees will participate in a group exercise to develop strategies and execution plans on how to operate efficiently across the chapter.  The presentation will also focus on the commitment and dedication of how each member of the chapter plays a pivotal role for a winning team.

Bio:  Melody serves as the National President of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP) providing leadership oversight and guidance to the SGMP National Board of Directors, Chapter Presidents, and Sam Gilmer Institute of Trustees.  She works closely with the SGMP Executive Director & CEO in executing the day-to-day operations of the Society. She created several national reports with a focus on broadening on-going communication between the National Board and membership.  Melody also worked closely with the former SGMP Executive Director in designing the Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP) certification program.

Melody has over 37 years of federal government service.  Currently serving as the Chief, Management Support Division (Defense Information Systems Agency, Network Services Directorate).
